What we did

We started with a Kick Start exercise to analyse Intralink’s business and develop inspiring new brand messages. We then developed a focused marketing strategy centring around stories and endorsements to demonstrate the company’s expertise.

Since then, we’ve been busy executing the strategy. We’re:

  • creating blog posts about doing business in Asia, and news stories highlighting client wins – all published on its website and shared via LinkedIn
  • continuously enhancing the company’s new website, focusing on its expertise in its core sectors and showcasing its successes
  • issuing regular email campaigns to a 7,000-strong database of industry contacts
  • running a media campaign targeting business, national and vertical market titles
  • supporting events, workshops and presentations
  • creating sales and recruitment collateral, and
  • coaching its employees in effective media interviews, public speaking and use of LinkedIn

The results

The company is getting recognised far more widely for its expertise, while it has developed a much stronger internal marketing culture.

The quantity and quality of content on its website and LinkedIn have increased considerably while its website, social media activity and email campaigns are proving more effective. The company is appearing in the business and national press — including the Times, Telegraph and Economist — for the first time.

As a result, Intralink is seeing a steady flow of incoming enquiries – some of which have led to new client signups – whereas previously sales activity had all been outbound.
