We are proud to have won a Silver Award for outstanding Corporate & Business Communications, in the Chartered Institute of Public Relations’ Pride Awards.

We were also judged a Finalist in the category of Best Community Relations.

Both rankings were for our work on a high-profile corporate social responsibility initiative from energy giant National Grid plc.

Our role was to pilot National Grid’s new Energy Education Centre to inspire young people about science and educate the community about its seven-year project to re-cable London for electricity via vast underground tunnels.

The CIPR judges recognised the impact of this work in enhancing the corporate reputation of the organisation, as well as engaging community members and increasing their understanding of energy issues.

In total, the Chartered Institute evaluated over 1,000 projects from across the UK.

CIPR CEO, Jane Wilson MCIPR, comments: ‘The Pride Awards represent the best, most creative and most effective public relations work across the UK.

‘To be a winner means your work has been judged amongst the best in your area by leading PR experts. Congratulations on your achievement.’
