TK Associates has been awarded a brief by developer Coastal Innovation Ltd to market the Enviro21 Innovation Parks – an innovative series of sustainable business parks.

We are working in partnership with design agency Fuga (www.fuga.co.uk) and the Coastal Innovation team to promote the Enviro21 programme to environmental technology companies, government, the community and stakeholders.

The objective is to run a complete marketing programme including:

  • research into the market to analyse target segments and important issues
  • identification of marketing messages, themes and risks
  • a PR campaign to promote the initiative and build the client’s profile on sustainable business issues
  • creation of a range of collateral including a website
  • advertising, direct marketing, exhibitions and other promotional activity.

The Enviro21 Innovation Parks, based in East Sussex, are centred on energy, water and waste conservation. They are targeted at companies at the forefront of the environmental technologies sector and those committed to energy efficiency and sustainable business.

Construction of the first Enviro21 Park is underway, to be completed in 2010. It will incorporate a 100m (325 ft) high wind turbine, forecast to generate equivalent electricity to power 1,000 homes.  It also includes The Exchange – a conference and meeting venue, sustainable restaurant and showcase of environmental best practice.

The Park’s business units are forecast to emit 25% less CO2 than standard new buildings, based on an array of sustainable features including biomass boilers, natural ventilation and ultra-high thermal insulation.
