We’re pleased to be delivering a media relations and marketing campaign for a prestigious Government initiative to help UK tech companies expand in Asia Pacific.
The UK-APAC Tech Growth Programme is being run by international business development specialists Intralink on behalf of the Government. It provides free and subsidised support to help ambitious companies expand in 11 countries across the region: Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand.
We’ve been brought in to market this initiative to British innovators in high-growth fields including artificial intelligence, biotechnology, telecoms and semiconductors.
Our goals are to raise industry awareness of the programme and to encourage applications from the leaders of businesses with the greatest scope for international expansion.
Our consultant, Rebecca George, is taking the lead with an editorial campaign to secure positive exposure for the scheme in the business and technology media.
Within this campaign, we’re focusing on major elements of the programme – including trade missions to take selective British companies to Asia to initiate commercial discussions – as well as profiling the latest companies selected for support and the advances they’re making as a result.
We’ll also be promoting the market intelligence reports being developed by Intralink’s specialists in APAC – including studies on the opportunities for UK firms in Japan’s quantum computing sector and in Taiwan’s semiconductor industry.
Our media work integrates with several other strands of marketing activity designed to promote the programme via social media, events, industry bodies and business networks.
