The Mulberry Centre cancer charity has appointed TK Associates to help define its 20-year vision, and to develop a clear, inspiring set of marketing messages to increase its profile.
The Mulberry Centre is a west London-based organisation which was established in 2001. It provides information, advice and support to people affected by cancer – disease sufferers as well as their friends, relatives and carers.
The assignment is being led by Tariq Khwaja, who will:
- facilitate workshop sessions with the charity’s 13-strong board of trustees and its staff to define the organisation’s values and mission and develop a 20-year vision
- work with the trustees and staff to develop inspiring marketing messages – around what the Centre offers and what makes it different – to help it increase its profile.
We will also analyse the key search phrases for which The Mulberry Centre’s website should be optimised in order to attract more people looking for information and support.
Judith Stewart, Chair of the Board of Trustees, says: “The Mulberry Centre is a small charity which has a big, positive impact. We want to support more people and to make sure our messages clarify what we can offer – so we’ve engaged TK Associates.
“From an introductory meeting with Tariq, it was clear TK Associates met our needs. We felt understood and in the hands of an expert. As a charity, we’re cautious about the investments we make but we feel we’re gaining real value for money.”
The Centre’s board will follow this project with the development of a long-term strategy to enable it to reach its 20-year vision.
