We’ve had a busy few weeks – and a particularly interesting past two days – managing the communications aspects of an important company acquisition.
As we announced yesterday, in a landmark move for the company, British international business development consultancy Intralink has bought Singapore-headquartered market expansion specialists Orissa International.
The acqusition immediately gives Intralink on-the-ground teams in SouthEast Asia’s six fastest growing economies: Singapore, Vietnman, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia and the Philippines.
And it’s a milestone in Intralink’s ambitious growth strategy, following the private equity investment it secured from Mobeus in 2023.
It’s been great to work with the directors of both Intralink and Orissa International over recent weeks as the deal came together – and rewarding to see it attracting so much positive attention this week.
The communications aspects of the project have spanned preparing for and making the public annoucement, revising the websites of both companies, social media activity, internal and stakeholder communications and media relations – and ensuring the announcement was aligned internationally across different time zones.
